The Test of English as a Foreign Language or TOEFL is an English Proficiency Test that is both used as an admission requirement for colleges and universities in the U.S. as well as a requirement for Filipino Physical Therapists for credentialing by FCCPT. It can also be used by Nurses to get their CGFNS Certificate.
TOEFL is a Computer-based Test that consists of Listening, Structure and Reading. There is only one Testing site in the Philippines for Computer-based TOEFL and that is at Ateneo Professional School. Although, the Paper-based Test is still available either in Cebu or in Davao.
TWE or Test in Written English is a 30-minute essay test on one topic or question which can either be done also on the computer or by pen and paper.
This Test is administered by ETS and it usually takes 4 weeks to receive the result by mail.
